unbelievable two Kumawood actors have passed on within a speck of time. Its was
not long ago that a popular Kumawood actor Osei Tutu passed on after battling a
short ailment.
Just some
few moment, news reaching us and trending on all social media is that, Kumawood
actor by name Patrick Safo who is himself a pastor has passed on.
The actor
had died on drowning in a pool. His sad demise was Saturday 4th June
2022. This news seems to be leaked by his close friends amidst sad reactions on
social media with his photos and a farewell note.
He shared on Facebook; “Kumawood actor and
pastor, Rev Patrick Safo is dead. May his soul rest with the Lord”.
Though the blogger did not mention the
cause of the actor's death, the official social media account of Ghanaian Newspaper,
The Spectator, has reported that the actor drowned.
Rev. Patrick's death has sent shock waves
across social media over how youthful and vibrant the energetic the young man
was.
It had not much been long The Kumawood film industry has received sad news with the death of renowned actor Osei Tutu Nyamekese.
Tutu Osei, the actor, is alleged to have died in his sleep in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
There have been several rumors about the late Kumawood actor Osei Tutu's cause of death after his demise on Tuesday.
Some people thought he was a healthy person, therefore his death came as a shock, while others suspected there was more to his death than meets the eye.
The actor's brother, speaking about his brother's death, disputed reports that he was in good health before to his death.
The actor was terribly ill, according to Ernest Obiri Yeboah, and had been brought to the hospital for treatment.
Mr Yeboah told GHPage that Tutu was unable to eat or drink anything, though he did not specify Tutu's original condition.
Mr Yeboah revealed that at first, they thought the illness was minor, but when he only passed phlegm and couldn't even drink water, they had to take urgent measures.
Tutu was then taken to the hospital, where he was given medication and fluids via IV. However, according to his brother, he was not admitted.
Tutu was sent to the hospital after his third week without drink or solid food, where he was treated and given more fluids and antibiotics.
Another Sad story is the sad departure of a famous comic actor and comedian from the key soap concert party Ice Kenky.
"On Tuesday, he arrived at work and discovered me packing... He went out to get pizza and then came back to eat with the kids. During the course of eating the pizza, he began coughing. He appeared to have choked on it. He became weak before they could bring him water and was transported to the Lapaz Community Hospital.
"He was admitted on Tuesday, and we were all there to visit on Wednesday, but his condition was severe." Mr Ansah described how "he died away in the early hours of Thursday, about 1:13 a.m.," adding that "he didn't have any underlying sickness, he was OK as we all went about our work."
Ice Kenkey, who was best known for his part in 'Key Soap Concert Party,' died at the age of 57, leaving behind a wife and four children.
"Because of his travel and tour company, Ice Kenkey was headquartered both in Ghana and abroad. He used to visit Ghana once a month... "His death has surprised us all," Mr Ansah continued.
